Congratulations on the completion of your formal dental education, and welcome to the profession of dentistry!  For those who have recently graduated from UBC, it has been great to have met many of you at our "sushi night" at UBC, and also at the VDDS vs. UBC "Hockey Nights".

We're looking forward to a very exciting start to the Vancouver & District Dental Society's 2007/08 season, and invite you to join your colleagues for great educational opportunities, social interaction, sports and fellowship. VDDS offers a "New Graduate" membership specifically for members of the 2007 graduating class, which is of real benefit at the onset of your careers.

We offer many activities throughout the academic season, from lectures and scientific sessions to sporting, social and cultural events. We encourage you to become a member of the Vancouver & District Dental Society for our new graduate rate of $350 for the year (a 50% reduction off regular membership). This permits you to attend all continuing education courses, and also includes complete dining when attending each course. Networking opportunities with colleagues abound at lectures, luncheons and dinners, and the sporting, social and charity events are fun for everyone.

Whether you will practice in the BC Lower Mainland or not, think about joining a component dental society in your intended practice location - it's a great way to meet your fellow professionals.
