Paul Rondeau Memorial Lecture
Humanitarian Award 2012

This prestigious award is bestowed to a VDDS member and colleague
nominated by peers for exceptional contribution to dentistry, and to the community as a whole.
Winner in 2010 was Dr. Douglas T. Nielsen of Richmond, BC (left).
The Memorial Lecture and bestowing of a Humanitarian Award is held every two years
to commemorate the life and contributions of Dr. Paul Rondeau,
whose accidental death occurred during his term as President of VDDS.

VDDS Dr. Ludlow Beamish Prize Winners!

Established by the Vancouver and District Dental Society, this prize
recognizes Dr. Beamish's leadership in the community and his contributions
to the Society. It is awarded on the recommendation of the UBC Faculty of
Dentistry to two 3rd year dentistry students who excel in the area of ethics
VDDS President, Dr. Vincent Hartloper and Executive Director, Gerri Randall, congratulate recipients,
Evan Wiens and Graham MacDonald, UBC 2012.
